QND Poets Bios  :


Kendall A. Bell is a native of Bergen County, NJ who transplanted to Burlington County in early 2001. His poetry deals with the frustration of everyday life, teetering dangerously on sanity's edge and the hope of better days. His work has appeared in numerous print and online journals, most recently Zygote In My Coffee and Decompression. He was nominated for Sundress Publications' 2007 Best of the Net collection. He has self published eleven chapbooks of poems. He has also recorded two spoken word cd's. He is a co-founding member and president of the Quick And Dirty Poets, Co-editor of the online journal Chantarelle's Notebook and the publisher/editor of Maverick Duck Press. He is a football and music fanatic and resident codger.

Rachel Bunting is a born and bred South Jersey girl currently living between the Delaware River and the Pine Barrens. She was the co-founder and president of the Quick and Dirty Poets from 2003 until 2008. Her poems can be found in regional journals, as well as the online journals The Barefoot Muse, Chantarelle's Notebook, Wicked Alice, Apple Valley Review and Boxcar Poetry Review.

Anna Evans is a British citizen but permanent resident of NJ, where she is raising two daughters. She has had over 100 poems published in journals including The Formalist, The Evansville Review, Measure and e-zines such as Verse Libre Quarterly. She is a three time Pushcart Prize nominee and was a finalist for the 2005 Howard Nemerov sonnet award. She is the editor of the formal poetry e-zine The Barefoot Muse and is currently enrolled in the Bennington College MFA program. Her first chapbook, Swimming was published in March 2006 by Maverick Duck Press. She occasionally dreams in Iambic Pentameter.

Andrea Jazwiecki is a South Jersey poet, living on the hem of the Delaware River. Besides writing, she enjoys travel, wine, anything involving chocolate and outdoorsy stuff. Her work has been published in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eclectica Magazine, The Edison Literary Review and Chantarelle's Notebook.

Don Kloss resides in South Jersey, but is an Ohio native. His favorite writers are Plath, Sexton, and the Beat writers. When not involved in poetic pursuits, he enjoys canoeing, camping and fishing. In life he has learned not to sweat the petty things, and not to pet the sweaty things.

Bruce W. Niedt is a native of South Jersey. His poetry has appeared in dozens of publications including Writers' Journal, US1 Worksheets, The Fairfield Review, Edison Literary Review, miller's pond, Mad Poets Review, Schuylkill Valley Journal, The Barefoot Muse, Chantarelle's Notebook, Baby Clam Press and Up and Under: The QND Review. He has won prizes for poetry from Writers' Digest, ByLine and the Philadelphia Writer's Conference and he has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. His third chapbook, Wire To The Heart, is available from Maverick Duck Press.
